We ship via UPS/DHL (tracked, insured, signature) in 1–3 working days. We export from the UK VAT-zero-rated. UPS/DHL air service to the EU typically adds £50 shipping for a 65×65×10 cm, ~6 kg parcel. The EU then charges import VAT on (item + shipping); duty is 0% for original artworks (HS 9701). Example totals by country: France 20% VAT → £1,260 (VAT £210); Germany 19% → £1,249.50 (VAT £199.50); Spain 21% → £1,270.50 (VAT £220.50); Italy 22% → £1,281 (VAT £231); Portugal 23% → £1,291.50 (VAT £241.50). UPS/DHL air service typically adds £95 shipping. Original artworks are duty-free into the US; however, at £1,000 (~US$1,280) the shipment is above the US$800 de minimis, so the carrier may charge a small customs clearance/brokerage fee (often ~£20–£30). There’s no federal VAT/sales tax collected at the border; state “use tax” (if any) is the buyer’s responsibility.
